Selective Early Post-Emergence
Dual Action / HRAC Group 5
Product Information
Mode of Action
Epronaz inhibits cell division and early weed growth, preventing seedling establishment. Propanil (HRAC Group 5) inhibits photosystem II (PS II) in plant cells, blocking electron transport and disrupting photosynthesis in susceptible weeds. Their combined action delivers broad-spectrum, rapid foliar action along with residual weed suppression.
Target Weeds
- Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyardgrass)
- Echinochloa colona (Jungle Rice)
- Cyperus difformis
- Fimbristylis miliacea
- Monochoria vaginalis
- Ludwigia spp.
- Annual grasses, sedges, and selected broadleaf weeds
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop | Target Weeds | Dosage & Method of Application |
|---|---|---|
| Rice (Direct-Seeded & Transplanted) | Annual grasses, sedges & selected broadleaf weeds | Apply as an early post-emergence spray when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage, using the recommended label dosage. Ensure uniform spray coverage and maintain optimum field moisture for effective weed control. |
For specific L/ha or ml/ha dosage rates and local water volume recommendations across direct-seeded and transplanted rice, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Early Post-Emergence Timing (2–4 Leaf Stage)
Apply as an early post-emergence foliar spray when targeted annual grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds are actively growing in the 2–4 leaf stage to achieve rapid foliar knockdown and residual control.
2. Uniform Spray Coverage & Field Moisture
Ensure uniform spray coverage across the paddy field using calibrated spraying equipment. Maintain optimal field soil moisture prior to and following application to maximize herbicide activity.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Avoid spray drift onto non-target crops and nearby water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
